Ukraine's Foreign Minister P. Poroshenko paid a working visit to Washington D.C. and met with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Minister also participated in the inaugural meeting of the Ukraine-U.S. Strategic Partnership Commission. The visit was aimed at strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries, in accordance with the Strategic Partnership Charter.

American OPIC renews activities in Ukraine.
In June 2010 in Washington there was signed a memorandum on renewal of activities of Overseas Private Investment Corporation in Ukraine. The memorandum was signed by OPIC acting President on private investment abroad Dr. Lawrence Spinelli and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United World International Foundation E. Prutnik.
Ukrainian Ambassador to USA Aleksandr Motsyk met with Head of the US-Ukraine Business Counsil Morgan Williams on June 24, 2010.
During the meeting Ambassador of Ukraine stressed USUBC's significant role in promoting economic cooperation between Ukraine and U.S. and thanked Mr.Williams for his work.
Ukrainian ambassador Aleksandr Motsyk asked USUBC to take an active part in organizing the Second Anniual Ukrainian-American business forum scheduled for October 2010.
Mr.Williams invited Ukrainian Ambassador to meet USUBC's members to discuss new ways to intensify trade between Ukraine and U.S.
